We’re Kristy and Alicia Gray, identical twin sisters, designers, stylists, singer/songwriters and vintage obsessives behind Miss Gray. Our earliest memory of style is watching our mum get ready for date night: a classic black dress, gold earrings, a red lip and the way the whole room lit up when she walked in. It ignited a feeling in us we couldn't put into words back then, but we've been chasing it ever since through vintage clothing, antiques, furniture and collectables.

Growing up without much money, we learnt early how to create a world from what we could find. Twenty years ago, op shops were genuine treasure troves, and we hunted them relentlessly for beautiful objects, clothing, jewellery and furniture, each piece carrying a history that could transport us to another world. At the same time, we began writing music: themes and melodies that carried the same sense of grandeur we were building around us. It's also where we discovered the thrill of dressing like no one else. As teenagers, our bedrooms became little set designs, layered with secondhand finds, and our style formed the same way: daring, glamorous, and deliberately dramatic.

By the time we were adults, it was clear we weren't meant to choose just one passion. Some say pick one thing. We never could.

That desire has only deepened. It's now fully realised in our home and our work, where clothing, furniture and collectables are displayed like archaeological finds in our very own museum. It's also how we style women, curating pieces into a signature look defined by X-Factor, never trends.

While the world beiges everything and paints staircases grey, we go red: bold colour, rich texture, mirrors, antique frames and layered textiles that make everything feel cinematic, collected, and one of a kind. We source, curate and style every element, we're also the ones behind the paintbrush and the drill, turning ideas into rooms.
